ABBE L3 in EE for Older and Traditional Buildings

Description
The ABBE Level 3 Award in Energy Efficiency for Older and Traditional Buildings is an essential qualification for retrofit, construction and housing professionals, to ensure they are able to deliver PAS 2035 compliant retrofit projects.

Elmhurst’s course has been developed from a British Standard (BS 7913: 2013) which provides guidance on the conservation of historic buildings, and supports awareness of older, traditional and vulnerable buildings (e.g. Solid brick buildings built prior to 1919).

Upon completion of this course, learners will have the skills, knowledge and qualification to:

Identify the age, nature, and characteristics of older and traditional buildings, including the methods and materials used in their construction

Assess the options available to older and traditional buildings when it comes to introducing new energy efficiency measures

Make recommendations and give advice for the introduction of energy efficiency measures that will work holistically in the property
Undertake a Significance Assessment in accordance with BS 7913

We hope you enjoy the course.
